Alfred Koomson

Marketing Manager

Alfred Koomson is a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, Ghana, American Marketing Association and Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, UK.

Alfred has written several articles including “Ghana as a Brand, “Branding Africa”, “Branding and Politics”, “E-Marketing and Economic Growth” etc

He has worked closely with institutions such as the Ghana National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GNCCI) on training programmes and Award projects. He is also a researcher and has done research for organisations such as Seladels Company Limited on the Ghanaian Canned Fish and Chicken Market.

Mr. Alfred Koomson is staunch Catholic and he has held several positions including the Chairman of the Parish Pastoral Council (PPC) and many others.

Mr. Alfred Koomson is a Marketer by profession with great passion for Branding and Strategic Marketing. He has over 20 years of experience in Industry and Academia.  He has working experience in industries prior to joining the NTC.

He lectured in Ghana School of Marketing which was the training School for the Chartered Institute of Marketing, Ghana (CIMG). He also lectured in Ghana Institute of Management and Productivity Administration and taught Marketing and Entrepreneurship modules for several years.

He holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing, UK, and he also attended the London Metropolitan University in the United Kingdom and obtained Masters of Arts (MA) in Marketing.
