Martin Adu-Owusu

Managing Director

Mr. Adu-Owusu was appointed Acting Managing Director from 2019 to 2020.
Before joining NTC, he worked as a Research Assistant with C.B. & Associates Ltd. , management Consultancy Firm in Accra.
He holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Ghana (Legon) which he obtained in 1994, and served as Teaching/Research Assistant at the Department of Geography and Resource Devt. Legon. He also studied at the Ghana Institute of Mgt. & Public Admin. (GIMPA) where he obtained Advanced Level Certificate in Marketing in 2003. He graduated from the University of Ghana Business School in 2010 with MBA in Marketing.

Biography

Mr Martin Adu-Owusu is an associate member of the Chartered Institutes of Human Resource Management and Marketing Ghana respectfully with in-depth knowledge and understanding of change management and organisational development. Mr. Adu-Owusu’s rich experience in management roles span over ten (10) years.
Prior to his appointment as the Managing Director of the Corporation, he worked as the Adverts Manager and later as the Regional Manager for the Ashanti and Brong Ahafo regions. He also held the position of Regional Operations Manager until 2011 when he was appointed the Acting Chief Marketing Manager.
Confronted with the duty of managing a diversified workforce and talent management, he studied and graduated as Associate member of the Chartered Institute of Human Resource Management and became the HR & Admin. Manager of the Corporation in 2015. He also served as the Board Secretary.

He is passionate about team building and takes keen interest in mentoring and coaching employees to reach their full potential. He has rich experience in the print media industry having worked in various capacities within the industry for over a decade.
